Study on the Image Acquisition and Processing System of Intelligent Traffic Control
Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS ) plays a very important role in China\’s Modernization Process. As one of the most flexible monitoring methods, systemsbased on image and video detection technologies keep getting increasing attentionfrom people.This thesis will introduce the design and debug process of one image collection andprocessing system. The first chapter will briefly describe the significance of ITS andthe most commonly used approaches of obtaining traffic information. At the end ofthis chapter the expected performance of the system is given. The second chapter willexplain the overall design of the whole system, the modular division method and thecore chip selecting process. The third chapter will introduce the schematic and PCBdesign of sub-modules. After describing the system hardware structure, Chapter fourwillgiveadetailedpresentationcoveringthechipconfigurationandsoftwareprogramm ing based on the debugging experience. The final chapter of the thesis willconclude our achievements till now
