Abstract:

With rapid development of the computer and the network information technology, the user set more and more requests to the quality of equipment power supply system. Then UPS arises at this moment, and has already become the essential protective product for the equipment. But the recent years, along with the electric power electronic technology fast development, it wishes that UPS could be tend to be more miniaturization and weightless, because of the new electric device requests, it could enhance the turn-on frequency, but the present switch component frequency has approached to the limit, and the high frequency has brought the noise pollution, the electron magnetically interference and so on, Therefore, the development of high frequency soft switching power supply has became especially important.The main content of this article is according to several kinds of typical power converter topology to compare the differences among them. In the end, zero-voltage and zero-current-switching PWM full-bridge converter (FB ZVZCS PWM) is chosen as the main circuit topology. And use UC3879 as the control chip. And also design relative parameters of converter, mainly includes the transformer, the filter, as well as various devices parameter selection, including converter tube selection and so on.A modern power electron power component IGBT (Insulate-Gate Bipolar Transistor) is used as the main power switch component of power converter. The entire converter system adopts the double controls, and the goal lies in makes the converter dynamic response speed up, strengthens the non-linear load adaptiveness. The Outer ring uses the voltage loop, the inner ring uses the current loop, and the current feedback pattern has two patterns: the inductance current feedback and the capacitance current feedback, according to many simulations and experiments through two different patterns, thus we draws the conclusion. Simultaneously this article simply introduces the UPS hardware, software system, and show massive circuit diagrams and the formulas to elaborate the system.Finally through many simulations and the repeatable experiments, confirmed this design is rational and feasible.
